Restored to her former glory by her current owners. She was designed and built by Jack Guard in 1946 to carry stores to D’ville Island and whale chasing in the Cook Straight area.

Built from heart Kauri, she is as sound as a wooden boat of that era can possibly be. As seen in the photographs, as part of the rebuild, the hull has been stripped right back to bare timber.

Powered by a 4CY Perkins diesel engine which gives a very economical 7.5kts cruising speed.

This vessel is reminiscent of times past and is a credit to her current owners who are retiring from the sea.
