Built in 1934 by Colin “Col” Wild, one of New Zealand’s most respected boat designers and builders, this launch embodies everything that made his vessels legendary: elegant lines, robust construction, and enduring seaworthiness.

Wild was active from 1919 to the early 1950s and is regarded in the top rank of Kiwi pleasure-craft builders. Known for producing fast, capable, and beautifully finished launches and yachts, he designed and built many of his own creations and was one of the few trusted to build from the designs of Arch Logan. His work remains highly prized today, with entire communities dedicated to preserving and celebrating his craft.
