1995 Bruce Roberts Design Cutter 37′

Boat Name: Imagination

Imagination provides a cosy and warm interior with space to entertain friends, a well-appointed and roomy galley with hob, oven, grill, and microwave plus room for four to sleep aboard. This boat is perfect for easy coastal sailing and exploring the anchorages of New Zealand. The current owner is a retired Cook Straight Ferry Captain, and you can see the care and attention to maintenance that has been lavished on this yacht. Currently moored off Russell Boat Club, the mooring, which was recently maintained, is also available by separate agreement.

With a Perkins diesel and cruising speed of 5.5kts Imagination will get you to your destination in safety and comfort. Ideal for a couple who want to spend their free time exploring the Bay of Islands from a base near Russell, this boat provides the comforts of home.  Should the weather turn less hospitable, the hard dodger and cockpit awning provides protection from wind and rain without compromising visibility.

Ready to go, Imagination was anti-fouled in March 2022 in preparation for sale. The boat comes complete with kitchenware and crockery, fridge and freezer, as well as a RIB and Outboard. Solar power assists in keeping the batteries in good condition and the Garmin GPS Plotter, depth sounder and wind instruments help with keeping on course, helped by the Autohelm 7000.

The owners have been meticulous at maintaining the interior as well as the operational systems of this boat, providing a warm and cosy home from home. If you are keen to see where Imagination can take you, contact Duncan on 021 067 0099.

Keep in mind that the mooring off Russell boat club with its great location, good food and bar at reasonable prices plus nearby Omata Estate Winery and thriving Russell is also available to purchase from Imagination’s owner.
