1995 Coastal Cruiser and/or Live Aboard – Fully self contained

Cheval De Mer is a Bruce Roberts Slocum design Jack Millet built vessel maintained to a high standard and presented in excellent condition. This vessel has been lovingly maintained with numerous upgrades and improvements, enabling her to be fully self contained as a live aboard and off the grid, if required.

Step aboard via a midships entry. The decks are full walk around, making it easy to access the spacious cockpit. Down a couple of steps is the wheelhouse, giving a second enclosed helm, with electronics and new switchboard.

Down a couple more step leads you into the main saloon with the well appointed galley to starboard and a cabin with en suite opposite. The saloon is spacious and has a open homely feel. Moving forward is the second cabin also with en suite, additional berths are available in the wheelhouse and saloon, allowing sleeping for up to seven people.

An 85hp Ford with only 370 hours after rebuild provides a cruise speed of 7 knots, the sail wardrobe consists of a near new fully battened main in good condition, furling Genoa, Tri sail and Stay sail.

The electrical system has been comprehensively upgraded, with near new house and start batteries. A new 400w solar power system which charges a 24v battery bank that runs a 4.5kw inverter capable of running power tools/kitchen appliances, etc. Shore power is available also.
