Ganley Tara 39
Boat Name: Mana
Features
Ganley Tara 39 “Mana”
Launched in 2003, this cutter-rigged sloop is well-equipped, well-cared-for, and ready for new owners to embark on fresh adventures. “Mana” achieved CAT 1 certification in 2019 and retains most of the required safety equipment, making her an excellent choice for those seeking the freedom to explore beyond New Zealand’s waters.
“Mana” offers a thoughtfully designed layout for a vessel of her size. The aft double cabin provides ample space, good headroom, and includes a chart table for navigation. Storage is plentiful throughout the vessel, ensuring all your gear has its place. The saloon is spacious and inviting, perfect for socializing or relaxing. The galley offers an impressive amount of bench space for meal preparation, while the saloon seating can also be used as extra berths for guests.
Forward of the saloon, you’ll find the head equipped with an electric toilet and a holding tank. The vessel features two showers—one in the head and another conveniently located in the cockpit. The forward cabin includes a comfortable double V-berth, ideal for two or as additional storage for sails and other equipment.
“Mana” has received several notable upgrades in recent years:
- New rigging (2019)
- New Harken furlers for both the headsail and staysail (2019)
- Three new AGM house batteries (2024)
- New Seafarer tender and Yamaha 5hp outboard (2022)
“Mana” was surveyed in 2022, with a report that reflects her good condition. The report is available onboard for review; however, please note that for liability reasons, it cannot be sent or removed from the vessel.
Power for the batteries is provided via the engine, solar panels, and a wind generator, ensuring reliable energy management while at sea.
“Mana” is more than a boat; she’s an opportunity to explore and create lasting memories. If she feels like the right fit, come and see her in person—your next journey could start here.
