Ganley Tara 39 – Priced to sell
Boat Name: Waita
Features
Launched in 2010 Waita is a testament to the current owner and has been fitted out to an extremely high standard over a period of six years, using category one regulations as minimum guidelines.
There is easy access aboard midships. There is a transom door accessed via the swim step leading into the spacious well appointed cockpit. Protection is provided by a bimini top and a solid spray dodger. The traveler is located on top of the hardtop, therefore giving the cockpit an open feel.
Stepping down into the main saloon, it is immediately apparent of the quality of workmanship and the meticulous attention to detail. The galley is to port and is equipped with three burner hob/oven, large fridge and double sinks with plenty of bench space. Opposite is the chart table electrical switching,VHF and GPS. Moving forward there is a great social area with a saloon berth starboard. On port, the main settee and table can convert to a double berth by dropping down the table with additional accommodation provided by a double quarter berth aft on port and a single aft on starboard giving a possibility of two single and two double berths.
Further forward the head and bathroom with shower is on the port side, with storage opposite, the front vee has been converted into a storage area.
She is powered by a recently reconditioned Nissan 55hp engine with 1200 hours use, has been regularly serviced and maintained as required. There are plenty of spare parts and custom tools aboard.
The sail wardrobe includes the mainsail in good condition, furling Genoa in good condition, near new Yankee, Storm jib – excellent condition, Trisail – good condition, Spinnaker and a striking Gennaker with a splash of stars to match the boat – presents beautifully!
Waita must be seen to be believed, there are simply too many extras to mention, the quality of the workmanship is of the utmost standard and it is obvious much thought has gone into setting her up. She has been recently antifouled – October 2024, with new zincs and is therefore ready to sail away.
