Kaufman 43
Boat Name: Stormy Monday
Features
“Stormy Monday” is one of those yachts that gives you a feeling of security and quality when you step aboard. From her secure cockpit to her beautifully crafted teak interior, this yacht can be your next home to take you to those exotic cruising destinations of your dreams. A full refit was carried out in 2012, with a hull peal back in 2004 and 2 coats of vinyl ester was applied.
Her systems are set up for short-handed sailing including electric primary winches, cutter-rigged furling genoas, autopilot and wind vane steering. Sails include a fully battened main, #2 genoa, high cut Yankee staysail, storm jib, spinnaker and a cruising spinnaker.
Below decks is an aft double cabin with ensuite and access to the cockpit. Forward down a passageway is the galley with large fridge and freezer double sinks and opening ports for ventilation. The chart table is opposite. Next is the comfortable main saloon with a central table and diesel heater. Forward of this is another toilet with double bunk in the forepeak.
Power comes from a Perkins 50hp inboard and solar panels above the aft Bimini. Electronics include GPS, Radar, AIS, SSB and VHF.
