2025 Boat Show Recap

Auckland Boat Show 2025 Kicks Off a Record-Breaking Year

The Auckland Boat Show 2025 was one for the books. Every March, the Viaduct and Jellicoe Harbour in Auckland become the centre of New Zealand’s boating world, and this year’s event was the biggest and best yet. With its 24th edition wrapped up, this year’s marine festival didn’t disappoint.

A Record-Breaking Year on the Water

This year’s show set a new standard:

  • 1.3 km of boats on display along the harbour
  • Around 222 vessels featured across land and water
  • A wide range of boats including superyachts, multihulls, amphibious craft, launches, and trailer boats

It was a true showcase of the New Zealand marine industry, from innovation to craftsmanship.

Vining Marine: On Deck and in the Mix

For us at Vining Marine, the show was more than just an exhibition. It was a hub of activity, a meeting point, and a chance to connect with boating enthusiasts, sellers, and builders alike.

We had strong interest from both buyers and sellers, and we enjoyed connecting with some of our favourite boat builders. It’s always valuable hearing what people are looking for in a vessel, and how tastes and technology are evolving. We walked away with new connections and fresh insight into what’s coming next in the world of boating.

Thinking of Buying or Selling a Boat?

If this year’s show sparked ideas, let’s talk. Whether you’re ready to list or looking for your next boat, Vining Marine is here to help.
