The Bay Belle has been an icon in the Bay of Islands for over 50 years.
Built 1960 by Deeming Brothers she was the famous Cream Trip ferry for the inner islands and along Cape Brett.
In 1973 she began a new life as the main passenger ferry between Paihia and Russell. Easily running up to 15 return trips per day proved her fuel efficiency (10L/hr @ 8knots), sturdy engine and solid construction.
Now she’s ready for an overhaul and new adventure. The bones are good she just needs some love and a refurb.
